NIcknames for Tabitha

I love the name Tabitha but I shorten familiar names and put a y at the end - not so keen on calling my daughter Tabby! What other nicknames work for Tabitha?

I know a few Tabby's. (Adults) I love it, but can't think of anything else you can shorten it too...

Tabby is the only obvious one. I think anything else would sound contrived.

But she won't necessarily have her named shortened. Introduce her as Tabitha and most people will naturally follow suit. I am an Elizabeth and people will call me that as long as I introduce myself that way.

Only other one really is Tabs

I have heard taba used.

Tabs, Tabby, Beefa, Beefy (not keen on that one!),, T, Tia, Tabby Cat, Cat, Stripes.

Love Tabitha, I would bite the head instantly off anyone that shortened it, so it stays Tabitha. Any shortening is unacceptable.

There are a few Tabithas at the school I work. One goes by Tabi, the other is Tabs, and the third uses Tavs.

Our Tabitha gets called Tabby cat, tabby kitten, tabs, tabsy, tigs and tabity

My friend is a Tabitha, she is Tabs but only to her close friends. I’ve taught a Tabitha whose parents called her Tiggy.

I had a friend in school/college who was just Tab. Never really thought much about it. Suited her.

I know a Tabs. Also think Bitzy would work, but I prefer Tabby to that tbh...
