Hi, I am currently pregnant with baby number 3, 2nd daughter band struggling with names. We like names that aren't too popular, try to avoid top 100. My son is called Carter (which although is 80 something now on the name list, it wasn't 8 years ago when we choose it 😂 still love it though) daughter is Indigo NN Indi.

Names we like and are toying with are listed below, opinions please and any other suggestions:

Coral
Blossom
Quinn
Amity
Ottilie
Juno
Astrid
Halle
Cassia
Delilah

From your list I like Juno and Delilah

dustarr73 · 12/01/2018 10:14

I love all the names but the one that stood out is Amity. Its fab

DontCallMeJohnBoy · 12/01/2018 10:26

We have Astrid on our list if this one turns out to be a DD. Others on our list are Violet, Juliette, Pearl and Ingrid.

ChocolateCrunch · 12/01/2018 10:40

I like Ottilie and Cassia from your list.

Navegante · 12/01/2018 11:02

Juno and Astrid are my favourites.

Fleur
Luella
Bianca
Anouk

Blondie83 · 12/01/2018 11:24

Love the name Quinn!

BlueChampagne · 12/01/2018 13:08

Juno and Cassia for me. Prefer Coralie or Coraline to Coral. How about Corinna or Kerenza/Carenza?

manicinsomniac · 12/01/2018 23:43

Coral - not keen. No reason why.
Blossom - not keen. Just a bit too cutesy, I think.
Quinn - like it.
Amity - love it.
Ottilie - not keen. I don't think it makes a pleasant sound.
Juno - not keen. I keep seeing Jumbo (I know it's nothing like it really)
Astrid - love it.
Halle - like it.
Cassia - like it. Prefer Cassidy.
Delilah - not keen. Similar reasons to Ottilie.

I'd have a tough choice between Astrid and Amity. Maybe Amity because it's really unusual.

Other suggestions:
Aphra, Aria, Ariel, Averil, Bronte, Briar, Brynn, Casey, Cora, Cleo, Delphi, Dulcie, Effie, Erica, Elina, Faye, Fallon, Hebe, Hedda, Juniper, Kiki, Keltie, Livia, Leonie, Mika, Mila, Mala, Misty, Noa, Noelle, Nova, Piper, Romy, Rosina, Ramona, Rowena, Robina, Sadie, Saskia, Seren, Skye, Tansy, Tanya, Verity, Zeryn, Zia

pipilangstrumpf · 13/01/2018 08:31

Cassia and Ottilie are beautiful, feminine and not overused

Quinn is a boys name, I know only boys, like Finn or Flynn.

CharlotteC77 · 13/01/2018 10:32

I like Ottilie and Delilah from your list, also love Piper and Coralie/Coraline from the suggestions.

Happpydays · 13/01/2018 10:43

Hmmm I like your naming style a lot but don't feel your suggested names quite match something like Indigo in coolness so far?

Blossom is both too cutesey and too Hollywood... Astrid, Ottilie, Delilah i see more as borderline frumpy names, def not as cool and different as indigo... Juno a a bit too normal too. Cassia too similar sounding to Carter. Quinn a boy's name. Halle and Amity would be OK I guess but not completely convinced.

Of PP suggestions I think Noa and Kiki are great! Also Leonie, Skye, Zia

skinnyamericano · 13/01/2018 10:45

Cassia or ottilie

TheVanguardSix · 13/01/2018 10:49

Halle

Notsoaccidentproneanymore · 13/01/2018 10:51

Scarlett

jellycat1 · 13/01/2018 10:53

Tallulah?

Leilaniiii · 13/01/2018 10:57

Are you in Australia? Carter and Indi are very popular there at the mo. Anyway, I think Quinn works the best with your other two. In fact, Carter, Indi & Quinn is the coolest sibset I’ve seen in ages.

undertheradarplease · 13/01/2018 11:40

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Quinn. Completely disagree with the pp who says it’s a boys name.

It’s short, snappy and a bit cool - matches your other two names perfectly!

Sevendown · 13/01/2018 12:01

Coral too twee
Blossom love this
Quinn if 5th dc
Amity makes me think of jaws!
Ottilie pretentious
Juno too cool?
Astrid love this, strong beautiful
Halle no too much like hall and the actress
Cassia like but don’t like Cassie as nn
Delilah Like

Hutch78 · 13/01/2018 12:21

Thank you everyone, you've helped me think about some of the names differently.
I think we have narrowed it down to:

Quinn
Cassia
Astrid

Juno and Ottilie on mine,
Antigone (Tiggy)
Persephone (Percy)
Tess
Calliope
Cassiopeia (Cassie)
Fern
Rue
Kali
Eris (goddess of war and chaos though)
Tabitha (one of my all time favourites but very popular now so didn't meet my outside the top 100 preference)
Juniper

Atticusss · 13/01/2018 12:34

Oh yes Astrid was also on my list, also Pippi

Atticusss · 13/01/2018 12:37

MikeUniformMike · 13/01/2018 13:16

Coral - no
Blossom - no
Quinn - no
Amity - no
Ottilie - no
Juno - yes
Astrid - yes
Halle - no
Cassia - no.
Delilah - no, but love the song.

daisypond · 13/01/2018 13:33

From your reduced list, I like Cassia the best - I actually like this a lot. I'm not keen on Astrid at all and Quinn is horrid.

StellaTins · 13/01/2018 13:40

Quinn sounds like quim Shock you might as well call her Fanny Grin
