My mothers name is Audrey and I quite like the name Aubrey as I think I could say I've named her after my mum but my sister doesn't agree it's anything a like! What other names would you associate with Audrey?

I know a female Aubrey but she lives USA
I think it is a popular girl name there

If OP's in US (or indeed anywhere that isn't UK) it might be helpful to say where. Because name advice on a British site is bound to focus on the British usage and associations.

Æðelðrýð, or Etheldreda are both older forms of Audrey. Would love to see English people using the old Anglo-Saxon names again!

Audrina which I would take to mean little Audrey

To be honest I’d be a bit 🧐🤨 If i was introduced to baby Aubrey named after Grandma Audrey.
It’s just a letter different, the names don’t mean the same thing.

How about Audrine or Audrina?
