A name as fabulous as Anna

I have an Anna and love her name. I can't find another which feels as right.
Something classic, timeless and international.
Possibly like Lucia or Maria.

I have an Annabelle. really struggled with a 2nd name as to me the name was the only name i liked. In the end we went with Felicity, she was nameless for a while though lol.

I narrowed it down to May, Cara, Maria and Rose.
Dh said no to Cara.
I am hesitant about Rose as I dislike the nn Rosie.
Dh thinks Maria might be too religious.
So May is the only one left. But it's not as good as Anna!

Thanks for the suggestions. Some we can't use as they don't work with family names (Lucia, Natalia, Julia). We like Olivia but think it's too popular perhaps.

I have a Rose and it really is the most beautiful name. I didn't 'love' it when dh suggested it but now I think it's the most perfect name and it suits her down to the ground. She never gets called Rosie if that helps!

It does. We love Rose. But I can't help thinking the possibility of Rosie is always there...

Honestly I don't know anyone that has even tried to call her Rosie. She says her friends don't call her Rosie and never have either. It takes my breath away still with how much I love it. It never seems to get annoying no matter how many times I say it :)
