Still on 2ww testing at the weekend! We absolutely love Mabel Nora or Mabel Eleanora... Other names we like are

Florence Nora/Eleanora
Daphne Nora/Eleanora
Esme Nora/Eleanora
Marina Nora/Eleanora

Boys name we love Henry the most followed by Oscar.

What do you think? Think Mabel is adorable but seems like a marmite name on mn, do you know many little Mabels?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I think Mabel is beautiful! I haven't met one yet though.

I met a Mabel over Christmas. She was very dinky & a vision in pink. Are you likely to have a dainty child? I don't imagine many Mabels playing prop in their local girls rugby team.

I also met 4 Esmes in 2 days, all aged under 4. Most of them wanted ponies for Christmas.

I love Daphne Nora and Marina Eleanor :)

I don't like Mabel. But Amabel is lovely imo.

BrokenBattleDroid · 04/01/2018 14:51

I really like Mabel, also Amabel which I think (but may have remember incorrectly) is the older version of the name.

Henry is great too.

horatioisabrick · 04/01/2018 14:56

Henry is lovely btw. Oscar is nice but a bit too "trendy" and it might date...

Yes think Mabel Nora is the front runner for the girls so far. Also liking Arthur for a boy. Looks like our boys names Henry & Arthur are also odds on favourites for Kate & Wills baby no 3 also...

My dd has a friend called Mabel at nursery. She's a chunky little thing with flame red hair and a feisty attitude...just adorable. That's now how I see Mabels so she doesnt have to be dainty to make it work imho

Mrsknackered · 06/01/2018 00:19

I like Mabel, but I love Daphne.

sidonie1 · 06/01/2018 13:23

I have a Mabel and she totally suits it. She’s one, has wild hair, rose cheeks and is the opposite of dainty. Definitely a marmite name but then with pretty much all names some people love them and some people don’t.

daisypond · 06/01/2018 13:57

I like Marina best out of your names. I don't like Mabel at all - it's a kitchen drudge servant name to me.

Gacapa · 07/01/2018 23:04

Feel like I should like Mabel, but just don't. It just gives off drudgery vibes.

Daphne oh the other hand is glorious. Elegant, chic and fun.
