Ewan or Milo.

My other two dcs have popular classic names.

Milo is currently popular name that I have heard loads recently.

Ewan. Milo sounds a little made up...

All I'd ask is can you cope with the Ewan the sheep references?

Milo.

Ewan the sheep ref doesn't bother me at all.

I think the milky choc drink would a bit though.

What about Evan?

Ewan is more classic than Milo, so less likely to become "dated".

The Milo drink association wouldn't bother me and I'm Australian. I wouldn't think anything of a Milo if I met one here.

Both very nice names. I prefer Milo, but, as I said, Ewan is more classic than Milo, so if that's important to you, then Ewan is probably better.

Check what the initials of all the names spell just incase it might be a problem. I have a friend who works in medicine and gets amusement at some of the words that the initials spell.

Of the two I prefer Ewan, I like Milo but for me it's more of a name for a pet, although it is gaining in popularity.

I have a Euan so that name gets the thumbs up with me. And the Eu spelling not the Ew ;-)

We have a Ewan, it’s a fabulous name good balance of not too common and not too out there, don’t meet many Ewans. People reference Ewan McGregor but never Ewan the sheep when we tell them our son’s name!

Milo was on our shortlist so Imma go with that ;)

Milo for me. Ewan sounds whiny to me, (not helped that I know a Euan and a Ewan who are very whiny).

Quick update. It was a tough decision as we loved both, but we went with Ewan, although now I can't stop thinking about whether we should have gone with Milo as it seems a bit of a cooler name. Will have to get a pet!
