Middle name Dean ..

I have two sons already called Reuben Edward and Leonard Gordon , both middle names are grandparents names .
I want to give this baby my late brothers name Dean .

Which of these sound nicest and still sort o match my other two ? Any other suggestions welcome as well ! I feel like 'Dean' doesn't really 'fit' as much so I'm not very confident whether or not the names go ...

Albert Dean
Aubrey Dean
Vincent Dean

They all 'go'. I reckon Dean goes with anything. Except maybe Sean. Or Jean.

Why don't you call him Dean as a first name. Its nice and goes well with the other two. Otherwise Aubrey Dean. Dean Vincent goes well too.

JollyGiraffe · 29/12/2017 19:33

I prefer Vincent Dean

AlmostChristmas · 29/12/2017 19:34

I'd say Albert Dean!

My son also has my late brothers name as his middle. Thanks

Other suggestions -

Tobias Dean
Simeon Dean
Franklin Dean

Buttercup I did think of that but I don't think my parents would cope very well having to use the name on a daily basis . My brother only passed away this year , so I'd like to acknowledge him but not have it shoved in their faces if you see what I mean .

GrinFirst 3 replies and we all go for a different combo!

AlmostChristmas · 29/12/2017 19:36

I think Franklin really suits the other boys names.

MikeUniformMike · 29/12/2017 19:39

Dan
James
Martin
Gerald

My old school chum is Aubrey. He constantly has to repeat his name and spell it for people.

Someone with bad handwriting submitted his school bus pass application and, as a result, for six years he was known as Hubert.

Franklin is fab and goes nicely with Dean.

Also, very sorry for your loss. What name do you think your brother would like best?

Ohyesiam · 29/12/2017 20:01

They all sound good. I would go with Vincent

Out of your three options I like Albert Dean the most. Franklin Dean is a great suggestion and I agree fits well with your other DC names. Or:

Francis Dean
Edwin Dean
Philip Dean

ChocolateCrunch · 29/12/2017 20:22

I like Franklin Dean as suggested.

Robert Dean
William Dean
Matthew Dean
Patrick Dean

DryHeave · 29/12/2017 20:25

Franklin Dean is a bit Roosevelt-y

mondler · 29/12/2017 21:52

I think most names will go nicely, especially once said with the surname added on. Franklin is very nice and does work well with the sibling names.

Smoliver · 29/12/2017 21:56

I like Albert Dean. Vincent Dean also has a nice flow to it, but I think Albert works better with your other boys names.

XmasTreeOhXmasTree · 29/12/2017 23:08

I love Albert Dean.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 29/12/2017 23:58

Vincent Dean is great !

DramaAlpaca · 30/12/2017 00:33

Vincent goes best with your other two names.

FoggieFishieCarpeDiem · 30/12/2017 00:33

Albert and Vincent are both lovely,

You might also like Alfred, Nathaniel, Elijah, Frederick, Samuel and Adam.

Patal · 30/12/2017 22:27

The suggestion of Franklin is my favourite, Albert Dean is my second choice
