My MILs god daughter just had a baby. They’ve named her Stevi, is that just like a nickname for Steven? Stevie? Or are we saying it wrong? Haven’t spoke to anyone to ask just received texts & pics.

It'd say it like Stevie

Although why miss out the e I don't know.

I looked it it up to cheak and this spelling is in the Urban Dictionary meaning 'A cute girl with a boys' name'

I would say it's pronounced stevie .

MikeUniformMike · 27/12/2017 22:04

Stevi looks wrong. Is it pronounced Stev-ee (like Steffi but with a v instead of ff)?
Stevie is nice.

MrsFoxPlus4 · 28/12/2017 16:51

It’s Stevie spelled Stevi, different I suppose.

Stee-vee. She's going to hate it. Especially with stevia being a sugar substitute. But with time she may like it too.

TatianaLarina · 28/12/2017 19:51

I would assume it was pronounced Ste (as in egg) vee.

It needs an e on th end to make it Steevee.

MrsFoxPlus4 · 28/12/2017 20:00

Well he’s definitely pronounced the same as stevie as we have met her.
