We know a lovely young lady called Morlin (sic), who is charming and lovely, only I have forgotten how the name is properly spelt - I recall it was written differently, I think it must be Gaelic. Can anyone help?

Probably Moirin....it sounds a bit like Morlin when pronounced.

I don't know much about Gaelic names. Could it be Malin, which is Scandinavian, I believe, for Molly?

Are they Irish? Could it be Muireann?

I asked her today and she says it is is written Malin , and is used in Germany. A lovely name I think.

It would go well as a sibling for Shannon and Bailey.

I've heard of a Malen - I think it might be welsh for Molly - pronounced MAL-en.
