DS2 Final List - thoughts?

DS2 is due in a few weeks, DS1 is Toby (not Tobias) and the final shortlist for his little brother is:

Felix
Evan
Angus
Peter
Robin

Open to other suggestions too!

I like Angus best and think Toby and Angus go really well together.

I also like Robin but don't think it goes as well with Toby if that matters to you

Toby and Felix also go really well. I'm just not that keen on Felix it's a cats name to me

Felix and Robin are OK but IMO they sound like cute little boys' names but wouldn't work so well on a grown man. (Particularly Robin.)

I like them all except Robin - which isn't a grown man's name to me. I like Angus a lot - if you have Scottish connections. Peter is very nice as well and is due a comeback.

Toby & Felix are two of my favourite names, so Felix :)

My 6 week old is Evan :) My grandad is Robin so it's definitely a grown ups name to me! I know a Robin in his 30s too, he goes by Rob. Really like Robin!

Personally not keen on Angus or Peter, Felix is a bit too popular for me. I'd go with Robin (because I don't want Evan to shoot up the charts, haha :) )

I think that's the best set of names I ever seen on MN! I love them all and I think any would be fab with Toby. If pushed, I would go for Felix.

I love Robin (but my DH doesn’t). All the Robins I know seem to be about 60 so it’s not a young boys name to me Smile

Keir was actually considered for DS1, can;t use it now as a family member has used something very similar in the intervening years...

Looks like we'll just have to wait and see what suits him!

I went to school with an Angus and all the poor boy got called was "Anus"... Sorry.
