A brother or sister for Freya

I'm only 12 weeks but already starting to think about names! We're having a surprise this time so need a boys and girls name! Their big sister is Freya.

So far I like:
Isabelle

Caleb
Zachary

That's it!!! I can't for the life of me think of any other girls' names I like. I am quite keen for it not to end in "a" as I'd like two different sounds to the names (eg not Amelia or Sophia or Matilda etc.)

Any inspiration to go with Freya??

If you like Isabelle then choose Isabelle! Phoebe Harriet Lois

Do we think Isabelle goes nicely with Freya?

I can't see why they wouldn't 'go' together. But I don't feel names need to match, I think you should choose names you love and that sound good with your surname.

Erin

I think Isabelle goes lovely with Freya. Other suggestions that sprang to mind were Harriet, Scarlett and Zoe. For boys for some reason George jumped out at me! But I love Zachary. How about Seth?

deptfordgirl · 07/12/2017 19:22

I love Caleb and think it goes well with Freya. Also like Isabelle but prefer it spelt Isabel. I know two Freyas, one has a sister called Eleanor and the other a sister called Eden.

I like your names so far. They'd go with Freya, which is gorgeous btw.

How about...

Esme
Eloise
Chloe
Rosie
Imogen
Natalie
Grace
Ingrid

Lewis
Jacob
Elliot
Ethan
Isaac
Joseph

Louise

Freya and Louise sounds lovely

Mrsknackered · 07/12/2017 20:52

I really liked Freya, I feel like Isabelle is a little bland in comparison? But of course, if you like it go for it. What about:

Eve
Ivy
Zoë
Maeve
Blythe
Iris

Jonty
Oscar
Austin
Isaac
Jonah

I don't think the names go with Freya - not that it matters. Freya is very Scandinavian, whereas Isabelle (spelled like that) is very French and Caleb is Hebrew.

Olivelor · 07/12/2017 21:08

How about Enola?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 07/12/2017 21:17

Freya and Ruth
Freya and Ruby
Freya and Greta
Freya and Greer

I like Freya and Caleb, or Freya and Isobel.

spiderlight · 08/12/2017 13:30

The Freya I know has a brother called Milo.

KeiraC · 08/12/2017 14:42

I have a Freya. She has two brothers called Leon and Louis and a sister called Iris 😊

starkid · 08/12/2017 15:07

I think Isabelle goes well with Freya, yes :)
Also I like Zachary out of your two boys names

Ah thanks everyone! I'm not too fussed on "origin" i.e. Caleb is Hebrew and Freya Scandinavian. I'd just like them to kind of fit nicely together. I really like lots of the names mentioned but we have friends/family with them already!! That's why I'm finding it so hard to think of what I like.

I also love names like Eve but our surname is all E's and V's so it would be too much!! Ha. I like Imogen but DH doesn't like it :(

Like Zach. Don’t think Isabelle goes with Freya at all (dislike it anyway)

Boys: Thor, Odin, Loki

Girls: Inge, Sol, Lena, Helena

TatianaLarina · 11/12/2017 09:02

Love Imogen
