Baby name dilemma!!!!!!!

As a last resort I have ended up here... my baby girl is due sooo very soon and we haven’t decided on a name for her. My partner loves Sophia but I don’t like it and am not really liking it for a middle name either.
I have - Milly Ella, Milly Isabella or Ella Rose and am completely torn!
Please help 💗

Ella Rose is lovely. Milly Ella rolls into one word a bit!

So you like Milly and Ella and your partner likes Sophia? If neither of you likes each other’s favourites then maybe you need to come up with something totally different. Or draw straws, (ok maybe not)!

Thank you for the quick responses... I’m going out of my mind. I can see what you mean about Milly Ella rolling into one word! My son is called Benjamin so I’m hoping what I pick will go with his name too.
I can’t believe how hard it has been to choose a girls name x

You could wait until she is born because you may find it easier to decide once you see her.
We had a list of 10 names for our little boy, including names I had always dreamed of, however, when he was born we decided that none of them suited him.
You think you had a dilemma? Our little sprog was without a name for EIGHT weeks! And the more under pressure we became, the harder it was.
We finally went with a name that was not on our list ... a name that we could never imagine we would choose.
So, if I were you, I'd take it easy and enjoy this time and the arrival of your little angel and the right name will come to you when it should

I do think if you both dislike each other’s names then you need to find a different compromise name.

Sophia, Milly and Ella are all nice popular names but that’s not the point, you need a name that makes both of you happy.

Thank you for your lovely response! I can imagine it was a lot of pressure for you as time went by. I was like this with my son, I only decided 100% when he was born, hopefully I will make the right decision in the end 😊
Choosing a name sure is hard work!

Personally for me I prefer Milly as there is (slightly) less around. Ella is such a lovely sounding name but it's popularity for the last two decades has put me off greatly.

Her surname will begin with S so I can’t see the Sophia working as a middle name x

You could stick to a Beatrix Potter theme with names? The style would flow with Benjamin that way. I.e Jemima, Beatrix

How about Ella Sophia Rose then? Sounds nice and separates the S's of Sophia and your surname.

I do like Milly Rose.
With the Beatrix Potter theme, I did originally like Lily but I thought it was unbelievably popular!
It’s so hard because I don’t want plain and boring but then I don’t want overly popular x

Wait until she's born. We took ages to name ours. See what works. Plus, no one uses middle names anyway, so don't get too hung up on that.

Thank you all... I’m going to sleep on it and see what sounds good in the morning, definitely narrowed it down for me. I guess we’ll have to see what she looks like! By the way, I’m due tomorrow 😱🙊💗
