And do you prefer the spelling Adele or Adelle?

I love the name, but people might connect her with the singer.

Adele. I've never seen the Adelle spelling before, it just looks wrong!

There's also the derivative Adela (German form I think) which is lovely too.

Adele is a great name. It’s never been spelt “Adelle” though - looks wrong and that’s because it is!

Adele, but I came on to suggest Adela. Just as pretty but not got the singer connection.
