We now just have to work out what to call him when he arrives. I have no idea. We like Orson, Louis, Bert, Monty.

DH likes Bjorn and Wolf...

Any help would be appreciated Smile

We're still no nearer deciding on a name and our little one is due at the end of the month.
Our shortlist is slightly shorter, we've now got:

Rafe (the one name we both like, however all the people I tried it out with have mentioned it sounding like rape, we also have a short surname so they sound a little bit odd together).
Monty (I'm a bit unsure though as we've had a few cat comments about Felix already)
Louis (both not too sure on this one)
Ivo (I love this)

What do others think of Rafe? We're not keen on Raphael or Rafferty but like Rafa.
Which do you prefer from the final four?

Love Louis !
Leo/n
Rufus
Barnaby
Bruno

BroomstickOfLove · 02/04/2018 12:20

I like Ivo best, but that's probably because I know a very lovely young Ivo. Rafe and Louis are both nice. I'm not so keen on Monty as a stand-alone name.

Redpramlady · 02/04/2018 12:27

My friends little boy is called rafe
I love it ! Strong sounding and suits him well. Think the pilot in pearl harbour film was rafe!

I like Monty best from your shortlist though Ivo and Rafe are nice too.

EllenJanethickerknickers · 02/04/2018 12:44

Of your 4, Ivo, then Louis. Rafe is an odd one, normal spelling is Ralph but then pronunciation is dodgy.

Monty the dog with Felix the cat might be a bit too much...
