Anya or Isabella (sister is Sofia)

So we had pretty much decided on Anya (and removed Sienna from the running). Thank you all those who helped prevoiusly! I still love Anya but DH has said that he’s gone off the name and isn’t so keen 🤦‍♂️.

He says he prefers Isabella and thinks Anya is a little hard sounding. I definitely like it, but not as much. I’m not sure if I can compromise now. What do you think? Anya or Isabella for sister Sofia?

Anya, I think Isabella is fussy. Fwiw sienna has become very popular!

I think with Sofia Isabella sounds better gives more Nn options to make it her own if needed.

I love Anya. How about Anna as suggested by a PP, or a combination of the 2 names you like - Annabelle?

Prefer Anya, it's a lot more unusual. Every little girl and their dog is called Isabella nowadays.
