Thoughts on Amelie?

I like it! Much nicer that Amelia which is super popular.

However, I'd worry that she'd constantly be correcting people that misheard it for Emily??

I want to say Amelia. It sounds like it is missing of an A if that makes sense.
Maybe because Amelia is so popular

It's pretty written but sounds like Ammerly. A No from me. Emily and Amelia are Nos too but I like Emilia.

There was a horse in the Melbourne Cup this year called Amelie's Star, and everyone kept calling it Amelia's Star. I can imagine an Amelie having a lifetime of that.
