Ds is 1 week old and still pondering on his name..thoughts on Robin?

I like it op. It's a lovely name imo, Not particularly well used but also not hugely unusual Smile
More importantly though, if YOU like it, use it & ignore everyone else.

I know several. One is Robert on his BC.
One is very dishy. One is funny and wears red jumper under a jacket sometimes.

Uhohmummy · 20/11/2017 22:20

I love it!

ImogenHeat · 20/11/2017 22:23

Lovely!

BelafonteRavenclaw · 20/11/2017 22:24

I’ve always liked the name Robin. I had a thing for Robin Hood growing up (I’m blaming the Disney fox).

FaintlyMacabre · 20/11/2017 22:24

My Robin loves his name and also loves robin themed things! There'll be some lovely baby clothes with Christmas robins on at the moment- go for it!

ChocolateCrunch · 20/11/2017 22:29

Yes, lovely name, especially for a baby born at this time of year

HettyB · 20/11/2017 22:30

Love it!

ArsenicNLace · 20/11/2017 22:35

Gorgeous but then I’m biased as I have a 13 year old one!

No one in his school has the same name so unusual whilst also being a recognised name.

Never gets shortened to ‘Rob’ either which was one of my slight reservations.

NamasteNiki · 21/11/2017 01:19

Love it.

Can have Rob as a nn when older which suits everyone.

tootsieglitterballs · 21/11/2017 05:07

I love it, considered it for this baby, but DH has an ex girlfriend called it...

Littlehouseonthepraririe · 21/11/2017 05:56

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 21/11/2017 07:25

Lovely !😄

Freezingwinter · 21/11/2017 07:29

Oh please use it, it reminds me of Robin Hood and Christopher Robin, both of whom I love! It's gorgeous!

mum2be2boys · 21/11/2017 08:30

Love it. Maybe Robert or something else grown up mannish on his BC

ByThePowerOfRa · 21/11/2017 09:53

Congratulations! I love Robin. It would be on my list for dc2, but it doesn’t go with our surname.

euanthesheepiloveyou · 21/11/2017 11:30

Love Robin for a boy. Gorgeous. Do it!

LadyHonoriaDedlock · 21/11/2017 11:58

Yes! My teen Robin loves it (and has officially removed the 'normal' middle name I gave him as an insurance policy in case he didn't)

Anatidae · 21/11/2017 11:59

Really lovely. A little bit unusual without being awful-unusual or try hard.

If your surname is banks, maybe not... :) but otherwise yes. I like it

peachytacos · 21/11/2017 12:13

Love it!! So gorgeous and classy!

Littlehouseonthepraririe · 21/11/2017 12:16
