Nella for girl ?

What do you guys think about Nella or Nela. I really like this name however I would like to know what others think.

I don't like it, but I really love Nell, so what's that all about?

But I know a Border Collie called Nell, so it's a dog's name to me.

I second Helen or Helena then use Nella as a family name, if you must.

My DGM born 1916, was called Nella. Her name was actually Helena, but nobody ever called her anything but Nella.

I really like it. I would give Eleanor or Ellen or Helena as a full name and use Nella as a nn.

I know a Nella, it’s never shortened. It’s a lovely name and really suits her
