So after much mumsnetting I finally looked up what the name Zephyr meant. Like a complete idiot I missed the Zephyros connection and thought that people wear naming their children after Russian marshmallows.

What names have you made similarly wrong but not actually wrongconnectiobs with?

Talk me through that please. I'm not sure I understand it

What? A zephyr is a summer breeze or something isn’t it?

A zephyr is a breeze - named after the god of the west wind or something, so a pleasant warm breeze, not a howling gale as the god of the north wind would bring. Don't know what the marshmallow thing is... Will start googling.

I used to get zephyr and zeppelin mixed up

I only know what a Zephyr is because of the Red Hot Chili Peppers song! I thought it was a plane til I googled.

Was the name of a car, made by Ford in the sixties I think.

It was a type of marshmallow with fruit through it when I was growing up.

Sorry, should have first said that my family is from the USSR and zephyr is a Russian/Eastern European food.
