Particularly, how would you pronounce it? I always thought I’d was just Mag-nus, but then just heard some people pronounce it Mang-us.

Who on earth is saying Mangus? They are mis-reading the name and thinking of Angus.

It’s MAG-nus. Nice name. And so easy to pronounce, there’s really no excuse not to.
