Is it too much? I had vetoed it but due a shortage of other names it comin back into play. DH really likes it but I’m just not sure if it’s too much.

Sorry, I think it sounds like the name of a ship. The SS Luciana.

What about Luana?

holidayqueriwifi · 04/11/2017 08:55

I love it. Also like Fenella and Georgina.

What about Lucia?
I would pronounce it Loo-chi-a

Mmm not so keen on Luana and I prefer luciana over Lucia.
What about luciana v Imogen v Beatrice/Beatrix ?

My daughter is named Lucia and I am really happy with her name. It was chosen as she was due near Christmas time and I received lots of comments saying she could be named Holly if born on Christmas Day. When I looked at a Christmas names and festivals, I came across St Lucia and the Swedish Festival of Lights 13th December. I just fell in love with the name after that. Occasionally people say Loo-chi-a but she quickly corrects them, unless we are abroad and she doesn't mind so much with it being a common Spanish/Italian name.
Good luck deciding! Xx

You could just call her Lucy with middle name Anna.
