Katherine vs Zara

Considering Katherine (tbka Katie) or Zara for a baby girl. Opinions please and any other suggestions appreciated! I also like Cleo or Sophie but dh doesn't. Really like Elsa but older sister is an Anna so that's out!

We had Zara picked but had a boy!!

I also like Olivia but it's popularity is putting me off

I love both. You can't go wrong with either of them really.

If you really pushed me to choose, I'd say Zara. Simply because it's a short, neat name like Anna.

I have a Zara. Katherine was on my list too. Both lovely but Zara won!

Katherine is my favourite name with Kitty or Kate as abbreviations.

I love both Zara and Katherine but prefer Kate or Katy rather than Katie for short.

I too have a Zara so that's my fave Katherine is lovely but I wouldn't shorten it to Kate/Katie.
