Yes I know, I know... Frozen. But I love the name! Is this really an issue?

No it’s fine. Go for it!

Rainybo · 19/10/2017 18:47

What about Elisa?

SP00KYLilBucket1 · 19/10/2017 18:48

It's beautiful!

PandaCat · 19/10/2017 19:25

People might ask about it being related to the Ice queen but if you love it, use it! I've noticed a few babies being named Aurora lately and I always think of sleeping beauty!

ChocolateCrunch · 19/10/2017 19:26

I wouldn't let the Frozen connection put you off, it's a beautiful name.

Chaffinch4 · 19/10/2017 19:26

Else is fine and beautiful!

Chaffinch4 · 19/10/2017 19:27

Elsa, that should say.

Joinourclub · 19/10/2017 19:29

Love it. The frozen connection really isn't an issue. It's not as if it's THAT unusual,

LadyPug · 19/10/2017 19:38

Thank you! And unfortunately I don’t like Elisa. I just don’t want her to have ppl singing Let It Go at her everywhere she goes! Lol

I encountered an 85 year old Elsa recently! (And did not comment about Disney princesses, although it was my first thought)

Frozen will spring to mind for a lot of people. And I would say you can't have sisters Elsa and Anna! But Jasmine has become very popular and people don't think of Aladdin.

2014newme · 19/10/2017 19:40

Yes bit do you wanna build a snowman?

LadyPug · 19/10/2017 19:44

Hehe 2014 that made me laugh!

It mostly reminds me of Elsa the lion, tbh.

I don't love it personally, but it's a perfectly fine name to give your child. She'll probably love Frozen.

Liadain · 19/10/2017 20:06

I used to love it because of the lion, but the movie has definitely put me off. All I associate with it now is mostly "let it go.....".

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 19/10/2017 20:08

Well why not. Anna is in the top 100 and there are plenty of Thomas' running around.
That's never lost it's popularity on account of Thomas the tank engine

alletik · 19/10/2017 20:09

Ha ha, like lia, my first thought was “the lion”.

Guess Frozen is all forgotten now!

MiddlingMum · 19/10/2017 20:11

I'm of a different generation. The name reminds me of the lion in Born Free, but I like it although I prefer Elsie.

LadyPug · 19/10/2017 20:15

Fab, thank you everyone! I don’t mind Elsa the lion!

Aurora is on my list and she is sleeping beauty! I also love Ariel... 🐬

Backhometothenorth · 20/10/2017 19:30

My 5 year old was upset at me yesterday and sobbed "whhhhyy didn't you call me Elsa" so I would use it and take the brownie points!!

MollyHuaCha · 20/10/2017 21:17

Nice name
