Baby due in April 2018.
We don’t know the gender yet, but the two names at the top of the list are Teddy for a boy and Adley (Addy) for a girl.
We already have a Millen, Anneya and Harry.
Looking for inspiration please.
TIA

Love Addie/Adeline or Adelaide.
Not heard of Adley before.
Other names ;
Harlow
Jasmine
Coralie
Louis
Jamie

Harlow was also high on my list, but my partner is Harry, his Dad is Hal, my step son is Harry and my niece is Hallie so a lot of Hal and Har names haha.
We love Addy/Addie but like the thought of that as a shortened name - I also like Addison x

Really confused by Adley, would assume there was an H missing.
Teddy for a girl as short for Theodora?
Audrey?

Mrsknackered · 15/10/2017 17:48

I don't like Adley (sorry)

What about:

Jackson
Arthur (Arty)
Freddie
Conor
Keir

Willa
Cora
Naima
Naomi
Everly
Lola
Evie

Addy is too similar to Harry, IMO.
Teddy is adorable and fits really well with Harry.
I don't really know what to suggest as 2 of your children have unusual names, and the other has one of the most popular names there is, so. Its hard to know what you're looking for, but I'll do my best.

I don't Adley is a bad name, but I do prefer Hadley to Adley.

Addison is a cute name to shorten to Addy. You could also have Adelaide, Adele, Adela, Ada or Adeline.

Vicky, Addison is lovely ! 😄

VickyA6625 · 15/10/2017 19:31

Thanks guys.
I don’t like Theodora or Theodore, so would just be Teddy for a boy.
Adley I think is unusual. I didn’t name Anneya and Harry as they aren’t mine biologically.
I do like Thea for a girl too.

I like adley op
Haven heard it before!

Redpramlady · 15/10/2017 20:24

Sorry should proof read! It's unusual but easy to pronounce and spell
Like.

I've never heard Adley before. Do quite like it but prefer Addison. I haven't heard Millen before either - is that a girl's or a boy's name? Teddy is okay but I think I would want it as a short/nickname for something because it seems quite young. An adult might want another option like Edward.

Just come across some other unusual names on a documentary I was watching that might have a similar kind of feel to Adley:
Nerilly
Febrianne
Indianna
I don't know whether the first two were made up or are established names but think they're quite cool.

I've known two girls called Addy. One was Adenike and the other Adesuwa. But at least one, possibly both, those names are Nigerian so may not be what you're after.

Also:
Avery, Amberley, Anoushka, Anika, Bailey, Bronte, Cassidy, Camryn, Cleo, Devon, Danika, Emery, Eden, Everly, Fallon, Farrah, Genesis, Giselle, Harper, Jessamy, Jerica, Kiki, Keltie, Leonie, Lorelai, Livia, Mika, Mala, Mackenna, Marissa, Neriah, Nikita, Nyah, Nia, Piper, Paloma, Quinn, Ramona, Romilly, Rowena, Saffron, Sorrell, Sadie, Tansy, Tamara, Vashti, Xanthe, Zeryn

Alfie, Archie, Arnie, Albie, Brody, Bobby, Billy, Colby, Corey, Cody, Charlie, Davey, Eddie, Freddie, Ferdi, Jamie, Jonty, Mickey, Nicky, Richie, Riley, Rory, Sammy, Stevie, Tommy, Timmy, Vinnie, Wilkie

Millen is my sons name.
It’s so hard picking something. I want something different but that will grow with them. Z
