What / who comes to your mind when you hear the name Taylor. We aren't Taylor Swift fans but do like this name for a girl, is that the first / only thing people think of?

I know a really cool girl called Taylor, so that's what I think of. It's not the type of name I'd normally go for but I really like it.

I think of a character in The OC.

I know 2 girl Taylor’s, they’re both lovely!

Swift, or the woman from OITNB (who is called Piper, but I think of then as the same name for some reason Confused)

Very American (which is neither good not bad).

nodogsinthebedroom · 09/10/2017 12:24

Neither good nor bad (imo)

David Hasselhoff's eldest daughter is called Taylor-Ann.

Very American but if you like it go for it.

SyrilSneer · 09/10/2017 15:12

Nodogs the actor who plays Piper is called Taylor so that's probably why!

I've worked with a few girls called Taylor. They are teenagers and under.
They are definitely not American.
As names go its nice enough!

BertrandRussell · 09/10/2017 15:59

My ds started in Reception with two Taylors. Despite all attempts by parents and teachers, they were called Taylorgirl and Taylorboy and remain that till the end of year 11!

lizzieoak · 09/10/2017 16:01

I know a man named Taylor. I don't like it for a male or female as it just sounds like a last name to me.
