Haha just started a thread before you re Rose! So that definitely gets my vote of your three. Gorgeous

Ttbb · 07/10/2017 22:58

Rose

chasingdaisy2 · 07/10/2017 22:59

I'm going to go with Avery because it's different and sounds real pretty Flowers

BlackberryandNettle · 07/10/2017 23:02

Rose. Avery makes me think of aviary.

Liadain · 07/10/2017 23:23

Rose by a mile.
Lola reminds me of a showgirl or a chihuahua.
Avery is very American and unisex imo.

DramaAlpaca · 07/10/2017 23:30

Rose, it's classic & beautiful.

I find Lola pretty but a bit insubstantial.

I don't think of Avery as a girls' name. It's a surname, and I don't like surnamey names on girls. It also makes me think of birds in aviaries.

But Rose is lovely.

LadyPug · 07/10/2017 23:36

Rose, it's gorgeous and timeless

Misspilly88 · 07/10/2017 23:38

Rose.

Thanks for all of the replies everyone!
Really helpful. Looks like rose is the front runner at the minute then!

Lola 100%

Sophronia · 08/10/2017 00:07

Rose

AnnieAnoniMouse · 08/10/2017 00:09

Not Avery - unless you've been getting frisky with an envelope.

Lola - depends if you want her likened to a child that defines precocious?!

Rose - best of the bunch 😂🤣

TillyTheTiger · 08/10/2017 00:12

Rose. Classic, beautiful, underused as a first name

SleepingStandingUp · 08/10/2017 00:13

Rose is lovely but was always a middle name choice for us. I love Avery

I'd go Avery Rose

Lola is cute. On someone else's child

MyLittleDragon · 08/10/2017 00:19

Rose. Pretty, timeless, elegant, easy to spell, (I have unusual name and am sick of spelling it out); it's a classic flower; Rosa or Rosie for a nn which is cute.. what's not to love?!

CakeRattleandRoll · 08/10/2017 07:39

Rose

HeteronormativeHaybales · 08/10/2017 07:42

Rose, by a mile - but how about giving her something fuller/more substantial for the birth cert (Rosamond?).

Avery's awful, sorry. I can't help feeling that with so many beautiful girls' names out there, the 'surname' trend for girls is an aberration. (And for boys too, tbh, with some honourable exceptions).

Not Lola. It's sweet for a small child but it has no gravitas.

pilates · 08/10/2017 07:45

Definitely Rose, not keen on Lola and Avery is awful

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 08/10/2017 07:46

Lola

Then Rose

Astrosaurus · 08/10/2017 07:47

Rose is gorgeous, timeless and classic.

Lola is sweet but might date.

I don't like Avery at all.

Astrosaurus · 08/10/2017 07:48

There is a very popular Jaqueline Wilson book that all me kids have read called "Lola Rose" about a very unhappy little girl.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 08/10/2017 10:02

Rose Avery.

AccrualIntentions · 08/10/2017 10:04

Rose

Montsti · 08/10/2017 14:11

Rose

PandorasXbox · 08/10/2017 14:17

Rose.
