Boys Name Help

I'm due a baby boy next month and still no nearing to choosing a name for him! So far DH had suggested naming him after the cat and a couple of other rediculous ideas but nothing sensible. I'm looking for some more names of a similar style to add to my list to tempt DH with before I loose my marbles with him pooh pooh g alk my ideas but not suggesting anything himself.....

So far I have (in order of preference):

Jasper (Love, love, love this, DH hates it )
Rufus. (Love this too but not keen on NN or shortening)
Hector (can't use as already taken by friends)
Rafferty/Raffy/Raff
Caspar/Cas
Tobias/Toby/Bias (like but DH hates)
Theodore/Theo/Teddy
Maximus/Max

My only stipulations are nothing royal or in the top 50 ish. Needs to suit a little boy and a grown man.

Oh thanks everyone....I'm still loving Jasper but just can't budge DH on that.

Rufus is still up there (I may have been calling Bump Rufus for the last week or so) but not sure what it'd get shortened too. Should I be concerned about the Rufus/Dufus thing??

The cat is called Hugo which I like but he's still alive and kicking (and pidling on the carpet!).

Henry has been suggested by DH but I had a dog called Henry, also Wilbur who is SIL's cat!

Need to stop using good baby names on pets.

Your list could have been my list, my BF hated Jasper too but did like Kasper (but only that spelling).

I also liked Caspian but that was vetoed.

How about Nathanial (Nate)? We couldn't use as it's a friends name but I love it.
