DS arrived a week ago and still has no name! This is our shortlist but we are struggling to agree on the perfect one. Which do you prefer?

Chaffinch4 · 04/10/2017 16:22

Congratulations op! I like Arthur and Albert, but probably Arthur most of all.

Elliot

rosareine · 04/10/2017 16:25

Arthur, with Elliot a close second.

ChocolateCrunch · 04/10/2017 16:45

Elliot, but Arthur a close second

pilates · 04/10/2017 16:49

Congratulations 💐 Albert is my favourite, love Albie as a nn.
Arthur is ok but strongly dislike Elliot.

Sophronia · 04/10/2017 17:06

I like Albert and Arthur but also strongly dislike Elliot.

ChimpyChops · 04/10/2017 17:08

PrincessPlod · 04/10/2017 17:37

Albert and I would call him Bertie

NutellaDoughnut · 04/10/2017 17:38

Congratulations!

My preference is Arthur. Second place goes to Albert (love Bert as a nn). Elliott is in third place for me.

All good names though OP.

howthelightgetsin · 04/10/2017 17:40

Oh agree with PP, Albert nn Bertie would be lovely.
I think Elliot is a marmite name. I'm in the dislike camp.

Lobsterquadrille2 · 04/10/2017 17:41

Congratulations!

Arthur, then Albert and a very faraway third of Elliot.

Olivelor · 04/10/2017 17:44

Congratulations on your new baby! Flowers
My preference is Arthur. Reminds me of King Arthur. Smile
Albert sounds a bit blunt.

mrsmc2017 · 04/10/2017 17:46

Congratulations! I prefer Arthur

bridgetreilly · 04/10/2017 17:48

I like them all!

In order:
Arthur
Albert (Bertie!)
Elliot

user1459464195 · 04/10/2017 17:56

Elliot or Arthur. I'm not a fan of Albert although objectively it is a perfectly good name.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 04/10/2017 18:05

Elliot

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/10/2017 21:03

Elliot

MikeUniformMike · 04/10/2017 21:07

Dislike Albert and Albie.

OlennasWimple · 04/10/2017 21:09

Arthur and Albert are older names: fashionable at the moment because parents are naming their DC after their grandparents

Elliott is a much more modern name (albeit with old roots), and is increasingly used as a girls name too. So a very different "type" of name IYSWIM

stopbeingadramallama · 04/10/2017 21:19

Albert.

Don't really like Eliot.

Threeandabit · 04/10/2017 21:26

Albert
