Martyna is the Polish version of Marina. Unless you have some connection with Poland, your DD might spend half her life correcting people and saying 'Martyna with a Y"

Not only is Martyna usually Polish, it's not pronounced quite like Martina - more like "Martinna" (with a short I). I think it would cause a bit of confusion unless you are actually Polish.
