Met a woman in the playground today who proudly told me her daughter's called Crystal May. I guffawed. No one else saw the funny side.

Crystal May. It sounds like Crystal Maze.

My thought that she probably had more than one Crystal May. Maybe twins. Crystal May and Krystle-Mae.

Holiday, there's nothing wrong with Crystal. Crystal is a lovely name. May is a lovely name. But if you're British and we're alive during the 90's you would instantly make the connection with a popular game show.
