Lincoln John Philip

Thank you.

Pretty set on the middle names flowing as Philip John. We are 100% on Philip but John is still a possibility... It may be dropped.

Dominic Philip John.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 28/09/2017 12:16

Dominic is nice, unusual but well known. Could be Dom or Nick when older.

Lincoln is ok, quite like Link as a nn.

Dislike Jackson.

Dominic. I don't like Lincoln at all. Jackson is OK, actually. I think that could definitely grow on me.

ChocolateCrunch · 28/09/2017 12:35

I like Lincoln and then Jackson. Not really a fan of Dominic, sorry.

Lincoln Philip John sounds lovely!

MammieBear · 28/09/2017 12:50

Dominic is lovely and very rarely used so for that reason I'd say that one fits best and with those middle names.

I usually hate surnames as first names but have a soft spot for Lincoln (probably just because Link is such a cool nickname). But then I remember how "proud American" it sounds, and I get put off again. So I'd go with Dominic, which I also like a lot.

17caterpillars1mouse · 28/09/2017 15:45

I like Dominic it's well known but not overly popular which is a perfect combination.

My cousin had a Lincoln recently and his name isn't liked by family. I prefer just Jack to Jackson which also seems overly American in style to me

Have you considered

  • Duncan
  • Elliott
  • Malcolm
  • Nicholas

Do inic

Spacey25 · 28/09/2017 19:53

I like the name Jackson. Maybe Jaxon to be a bit different? Jax is a cool shortening!

  • Dominic 😄

Lincoln. Even if it does sound a little American, Abraham Lincoln is a pretty good namesake!

NotAgainYoda · 29/09/2017 05:59

I don't think it matters how it sounds with the other names, unless you are going to be saying them out loud a lot. Which most people don't

I like Dominic

Dominic for me.

Not loving the other two.

Jackson or Jaxen has become really popular!
