What are your thoughts on Silas? Do you know any?

Don't know any but I really don't like the name. It's not warm or likeable. Just uurrgghhh

I like it, even though the evil monk from The Da Vinci Code is the first Silas that springs to mind.

I think Justin Timberlake has a son called Silas too? I may be wrong. It's a cool name.

There was a kids program on in the holidays when I was little called Silas. It was foreign and dubbed badly but I loved it. So I have fond memories when I hear that name, but not sure if that helps?

I know one. It suits him and fits well with his surname. Wouldn't be my personal choice but I prefer unusual names, and it is nice when children have something a bit different.

I though of Silas Heap (the dad from a series of books DS2 is listening to in the car currently).

It has negative connotations for me as serial killers unfortunately.

I like it. Infinitely better than lots of popular names at the moment.

I really like this name and was on my list for if I had a ds. The only thing that put me off a little is how it seems to be disliked on mn.
