Mika (cool, sweet and intelligent)
Muzhir (witnessed, name of companion)
Nasir (protector, supporter)
Salif (previous, former)
Shayan (praised, worthy)

Not sure how modern^ they are, though, which I'd forgotten you wanted!

I like Noor -I think it means light :)

DS has 3 boys called Abdul in his year ( think its short for Abdullah)
