Like Amelia-Jade but anything more than a 3 syllable middle name sounds a mouthful.

PS Why not Blue, to me Blu reads like a cleaning product.

Dolwar · 11/09/2017 16:39

I would avoid Jade......it brings back memories of the 90s when there were lots of little girls from lower socio-economic areas with Croydon facelifts and rainbow bobbles called Jade.

Also EVERYONE is hyphenating first names now. It is very yawn. Add that to the fact that one of the 2 names is usually Lily/Lilly/May/Mae/Mai/Eva/Ava/Grace and you get a real lack of variety.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 11/09/2017 19:40

I like Riley Jade, and Beau.

Glumglowworm · 11/09/2017 20:22

Amelia without a hyphen

Noah

Mulch · 11/09/2017 20:23

I love Frankie for a girl and rylee for a boy

Sophronia · 11/09/2017 20:34

I like Myla and Eden

Fandabidozy · 11/09/2017 20:43

Not keen on any tbh, Harper-Blu sounds like a cleaning product and that spelling of Rylee is just awful it looks wrong different but it sounds the same as all the other Riley's around.

Francesca is lovely though, I'd use that with Frankie as a nickname :)

AdalindSchade · 11/09/2017 20:46

As has been said on all the other 'beau' threads recently
Beau is masculine. Not for girls.
I like your variation on a theme by adding beaux into the mix. Beaux is plural, so not a name for one child, literally ever.

turquoise88 · 11/09/2017 20:52

I just do not understand the whole Beau/BeauX thing. As PP have said, Beau is the masculine form of beautiful and Beaux is plural! You don't add an X and it becomes feminine, the feminine form is Belle!

I like Noah from your list, and Harper, but not with Blu. Not too keen on double barrelled names at the moment tbh.

turquoise88 · 11/09/2017 20:54

Also appears to be a real 'yla' trend at the moment, Myla, Lyla, Nyla, Schmyla...again, not a fan personally, but of course, your choice :)

PsychoPumpkin · 11/09/2017 20:58

Frankie or Noah.

Allthecake · 11/09/2017 21:11

Eden is brilliant for either a boy or a girl.
Noah is gorgeous too but probably not for you if you're bothered by it being popular, same goes for Lily. I personally don't like hyphenated names.
Never heard of Myla before, it's ok but I prefer Nayla (pronounced Ny-la).
Do you like Miles for a boy?

rainbowpie · 11/09/2017 21:17

Girls:

Amelia but no hyphen
Francesca nn Frankie

Boys:

Noah

That's it.

BewareOfDragons · 11/09/2017 21:23

Every Eden or Idun I know is a girl. Please don't do that to a boy.

Noah is quite popular where we live.

Aria is pretty.

Pemba · 11/09/2017 21:26

Take away the hyphens and wacky spellings and there are some decent names in there, at least for girls. But NOT Harper-Blu which sounds like a bottle of toilet cleaner. Amelia, Lily and Grace are all nice, as is Myla, although I prefer Mila (mee-la) really. Frankie is OK as a nickname for Frances or Francesca.

Beau is definitely male, but an awful lot to live up to ('beautiful'). Beaux is plural, like pps said. Eden sounds girly, I like it as a girls' name. Rylee sounds really chavvy, especially with that spelling. At least Noah is a a normal name, although I'm not really keen.

DuggeeHugs · 11/09/2017 21:28

Aria
Noah

llangennith · 11/09/2017 21:31

Please don't use a hyphenated name! Most of the names are not to my taste but that's just me.

Grimmfebruary · 11/09/2017 21:42

Rylee is the female spelling. I know a male Rylee and it drives me crackers. Blu is horrible whatever it's paired with.

Jellybeans90 · 11/09/2017 21:46

Rylee for a boy

OP posts:
littlecabbages · 11/09/2017 21:58

Rylee is a horrible spelling not to my taste.
Eden is, imo, a boys name not as PP said 'girly' as I know of a few boy Edens (mainland Europe though, and pronounced eh-Den like Dirty Den)

Love love love Aria!
Noah is nice but just a bit blah as there are so many around... Boys names are hard !

littlecabbages · 11/09/2017 21:59

I do know two girl Beaus and I inwardly judge Blush

Blue/bleu/blu is a bit try-hard

pieceofpurplesky · 11/09/2017 22:01

I know two Mylas. Both Welsh and both men.

pieceofpurplesky · 11/09/2017 22:01

Although one is Mila

Greenifer · 11/09/2017 22:12

Myla is a brand of lingerie.

Noah is really lovely. Aria is fine. The others are not my cup of tea at all and Harper-Blu is positively awful. Amelia is a lovely name if not hyphenated with Jade.

Buntysoven · 11/09/2017 23:00

Aria is gorgeous.
