I have loved the name Amelie for as long as I can remember and am gutted that it is so so popular now. Can you suggest any other French /pretty names? Thanks :)

Elise?

(But if you love, and have always loved, Amelie...I do, too: gorgeous name!...does it really matter if there are plenty around? It'll still be special to you and her). Smile

Arielle is very pretty, too.

Name meaning is "Lioness of God", which sounds impressively strong and powerful...
(Personal religious/anti-religious views may sway it for you either way there!).
