Hi what do you think of the name Zoe? Due in 6 weeks and still can't decide on name. I have one daughter already named Iona.

I'm not keen on using a very popular name or one that's too unusual either. Also keen to avoid a name which can be shortened e.g. I like Catriona but not keen on 'Cat'. Also like Eilidh but there are so many 'el' sounding girls names e.g. Ella/Ellie etc and starting to think Eilidh is quite similar to those names

Love Zoe

I also love Zoe. I wanted names that were just right, not silly or trendy -

My daughter is Rowan and she hated it.
Last week she went to an important interview and when she came home she said thank you for my name Mum!" She said they had remarked on what a nice name it is 😊 she got in!

Love it, and it goes well with Iona.

Zoe is a lovely name and really uncommon currently. It also sounds lovely with older sister Iona

I love the name Zoe. I love the sound of it, the letters everything, its fab. I know 2 Zoe's who are gorgeous looking, really witty, capable, strong, loving, hard workers, feminine and great vivacious mums. Great choice.

Iona and Zoe go well together

I really like Zoe. I also know a Catriona who shortens it to Trina rather than Cat.
