Hello Smile my due date is Halloween, so I'd really like him to have a name by then!

Elliot (I hate the other spellings Grin)
Noah (is it okay for an adult?)
Theodore (pronunciation issues)

Funnily enough, I do love them all Grin

No middle name/3 syllable surname...!

I like Theodore from your list, though I'm not sure how well it would flow with a 3-syllable surname. Theo is nice.

Lemondrop99 · 06/09/2017 16:29

I know an Elliot and his name is constantly misspelt Elliott - so maybe avoid if the other spellings upset you that much....

I think Noah is hugely overused.

Theodore is nice. Elliot is my favourite from your list

euanthesheepiloveyou · 06/09/2017 16:30

Elliott. Noahs & Theodores are EVERYWHERE!!

euanthesheepiloveyou · 06/09/2017 16:30

Sorry - Elliot. 😎

Sophieee123 · 06/09/2017 16:32

@LarkDescending, I think it sounds okay. Yes, I would use Theo.

@Lemondrop99, it would annoy me

@euanthesheepiloveyou, I don't know any!

OP posts:
Loyly · 06/09/2017 16:33

Theodore

NoCapes · 06/09/2017 16:34

Not Noah, awful wet name
Probably Elliot out of the 3

Ikabod · 06/09/2017 16:34

Elliot.

Sophieee123 · 06/09/2017 16:35

@NoCapes, what's a 'wet' name?

OP posts:
PitilessYank · 06/09/2017 16:38

I like the name Noah. It's lovely. I am in the US, though.

NoCapes · 06/09/2017 16:38

It just sounds wet
Like a wet person; soft, whiny, annoying type person?

TwoKidsAndCounting · 06/09/2017 16:39

Noah is way too common and it doesn't sound half as nice whe said by someone with a northern accent so avoid if you live anywhere north of Peterborough! Elliot is lovely

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 06/09/2017 16:40

Elliot. Fabulous.

ButterflyOfFreedom · 06/09/2017 16:41

Noah

tissuesosoft · 06/09/2017 16:41

We decided on DD's name by repeating it 10 times in a row, if it hasn't bugged me it was a winner!

SumAndSubstance · 06/09/2017 17:14

Noah (is it okay for an adult?)
Noah was an old dude with a beard and lots of (adult) children!

euanthesheepiloveyou · 06/09/2017 17:37

Well I know of 4 Noahs & 6 Theo(dores) - all under 5...although I teach in a big secondary school & there's only 1 Theo & no Noahs. So both have gained hugely in popularity in the last few years I think. So I still say Elliot. 🙄

wobblywonderwoman · 06/09/2017 17:39

Theo

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 06/09/2017 17:46

Theo.

Sequence · 06/09/2017 17:54

Theodore/Theo is my favourite of the bunch Smile To me, it seems more substantial than Noah and Elliot.

Pemba · 06/09/2017 18:11

Theodore

ScarletSienna · 06/09/2017 18:14

Elliot. Theodore is alright but dislike Noah.

Chocachoo · 06/09/2017 18:30

Defo Theodore. And I also love Theo or Ted 👍

bridgetreilly · 06/09/2017 19:58

I like them all. In order:
Noah
Elliot
Theodore

Bamaluz · 06/09/2017 20:22

Elliot
