Darcey is definitely my least favourite Sad but it seems all the girls are Darceys.

I would spell it as you have in the title

Berrybakecake1 · 04/09/2017 20:22

Darcy.
Dislike all the other variants.

MikeUniformMike · 04/09/2017 20:24

Me too, but you could have Darcie, Darcey, or D'arcy too.
I don't like it.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/09/2017 20:25

Darcy.

Threeandabit · 04/09/2017 20:31

Darcey, like Darcey Bussell. It's just personal preference. Lovely name, op. Smile

Darcey like the ballerina (I am biased though as I have a beautiful little Darcey)

JonSnowIsMyKing · 05/09/2017 21:43

D'arcy 😁 (sorry bad Alan partridge joke)

ForgetAboutSleep · 05/09/2017 21:46

As a teacher I've only ever come across Darcy. Quite like Darcie but I think you would always get people spelling it with a y unless they knew.

Muddlingalongalone · 05/09/2017 21:46

Personally Darcey but dd1 has a Darcie as a classmate which has grown on me

stoplickingthetelly · 05/09/2017 21:48

I thought Darcey was the feminine and Darcy the masculine, traditionally, but I could be wrong.

TheThickenPlots · 05/09/2017 22:16

There's a D'Arcy at my school- she will be spelling that out forever more! I would go with Darcy I think.

SuperBeagle · 05/09/2017 23:10

Darcy.

The only one I know spells it Darcie, but I don't like that at all.

elQuintoConyo · 05/09/2017 23:16

Darsey. To rhyme with Arsey. Bridget Jones' influence!

I prefer the look of Darcy, no E.

It is a name that came over with the Normans in 1066. D'Arcy = from Arcy. Can be male or female.

MikeUniformMike · 05/09/2017 23:22

Darce as a nn.
Arsey Darcey.

Amee1992x · 06/09/2017 00:27

I know a Darcie & a Darcy.

Sophronia · 06/09/2017 01:14

Darcey. I think Darcie is actually the most common spelling though (or it was in 2015 when the last stats came out).

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 06/09/2017 01:17

My Darcy is 11 and at the time it was still quite unusual! Never considered spelling it any other way.

Sophronia · 06/09/2017 01:21

I know a boy Darcy spelled this way.

BlueberryPuffin · 06/09/2017 02:05

Darcy, like in Pride and Prejudice.
