May Kathryn

Does it sound wrong (like 'Make a thing').
Does it matter?
I'd like to use Kathryn or Margaret as a middle name to honour family, but am struggling to find combinations that sound nice.

Are you wanting to use the whole names Kathryn/Margaret or would you consider diminutives such as Katie or Greta?

Nice to see May as a first name idea for a change, as it's so often a middle name.

Sorry to me it sounds like you are asking if Kathryn can do something e.g. 'May Kathryn please come for a sleep over'.

I do like the name May but really don't think it works well as a first name.

Thank you for the replies. I am feeling a bit more confident now. No idea if this is a boy or girl, but I have a boy's name picked. I was a bit worried I couldn't find any girl's name I liked. I already have a boy and girl, and am a bit worried that I'll always think of their names as my top choice! But now have 2 girl options

I think the name May makes it sound like you are asking permission for something when it is used at the start of a sentence, so it would be all the time if you intend to use both names (as if double barrelled).
