This is my fave name right now. It keeps resonating within me but I can't seem to "sell myself" completely: Simon Bradford Hollingsworth

Bradford is an honor name. Si would be his nick name.

I like it a lot too, it's traditional but not given to babies very often. Si is a great nickname.

sonlypuppyfat · 26/08/2017 04:15

Lovely, a proper solid blokes name

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 26/08/2017 07:26

That's a fabulous name, don't look any further ! 😄

daisymai08 · 26/08/2017 07:28

Do it! Sis a great name..

MammieBear · 26/08/2017 07:31

Lovely name like Martin in my opinion.

MammieBear · 26/08/2017 07:32

Means snub nosed though according to Google.

RosieTheRiveting · 26/08/2017 07:35

It's gorgeous, wish I had gone with my gut and used it.

grufallosfriend · 26/08/2017 07:42

Simon is lovely!

But please don't shorten it! Especially not to Si (sigh) Hmm. Why does every name need to be shortened these days? What's wrong with Simon?

joolspoon · 26/08/2017 08:40

Lovely name

NerrSnerr · 26/08/2017 08:42

Simon was on my list for our son. I love it.

HollingLove5 · 26/08/2017 15:51

Thank you! I will call him Simon for sure! But I like to have an option for a nickname :).

Good name.

grufallosfriend · 26/08/2017 15:53

Sometimes nicknames have no similarity to the actual name Smile.

Simon is so lovely as it is!

HollingLove5 · 26/08/2017 15:53

Google is inaccurate. But thanks for looking. It actual means listening/hearing in reference to God. It is biblical. Or at least this is why we chose it. Sometimes I wonder where Google gets its name meanings.

Thanks to all who responded! I am confident that Simon is my babies name. 99% sure anyways! :)

Lovely solid name, and underused these days

17caterpillars1mouse · 31/08/2017 12:52

I like it. Also like Simeon

Glumglowworm · 31/08/2017 17:34

I really don't like it, possibly because I've known some horrible simons tbh

topcat2014 · 31/08/2017 18:41

I found out (aged about 40) that Simon was to be my name, until in the end DParents went with a short name beginning with T.

I like to think of this being my 'parallel life' person.
