I love Arlo - is it too popular?

I love the name Arlo but my OH is saying it's becoming too popular. What do we all think? I have 2 weeks left to decide and this is the only one sticking in my mind!

It's popular here. I really don't like it- very try hard and will date badly I think.

Urban London v suburban London?

We named our 4 yr old Arlo. I love it. It really suits him. I've noticed one or two other Arlo's but its by no way in the same common name bracket as Jack, George, Charlie, etc.

I think I was trying to illustrate the volume of children we encounter- we live in a very built-up urban area- lots of high rises flats, estates and so therefore LOADS of kids.

And none of the ones I have met so far have been called Arlo

ime zone 2 London is overrun with toddlers called arlo. but if you like the name don't let that put you off it just makes it easier to find souvenirs with their name on x

We're zone 2 as well...but I'd hazard a guess you're not in SE London?

I'm in se. but the arlos are concentrated in certain (expensive) toddlers groups!

I love it, but the only one I've ever been aware of is Arlo Guthrie. That makes it kind of cool, though.

Yes, very very popular very fast. I promise it will be well in the top 100 when last years stats are released in a few weeks. It was 102 in 2015. Look at the stats for proof rather than ask for anecdote.
