Hi there

Looking for help naming identical twins with a brother called Tobias (Toby mainly). We don't know the gender yet but think we're sorted on boys names so your assistance with girls would be very much appreciated!

Short list so far

Rosa
Eliza
Talia or Thalia
Verity
Ramona
Cassia
Saskia
Alice
Serena - dh not keen

Ooh yes Saskia and Romilly sounds fab!

Jooni · 22/08/2017 09:54

Or Briony?

Janika · 22/08/2017 09:55

Thelma and Louise!Smile

intuition · 22/08/2017 10:07

Roza and Liza (pronounced the same way)

Talia and Tilda and Toby!!

Pennywhistle · 22/08/2017 12:42

Intuition Roza and Liza would be a practical nightmare for twins. Grin

starkid · 22/08/2017 12:56

I like Alice, Eliza and Ramona best :)

Tobias, Rosa and Eliza
Toby, Rosie and Ellie

Lovely names - all well known whilst not being too popular.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 22/08/2017 15:58

What about Carina? LOVE. Ramona and Carina.

From your actual list though, Ramona and Saskia. Great list!

user1471547428 · 23/08/2017 14:58

Definitely not Cassia as I'm about to use it (joke, sort of...)
Apart from that, like Ramona and Saskia, but actually prefer Romola to Ramona.

user1471547428 · 23/08/2017 14:58

Oh love Carina too and also Calista

Mamabear4180 · 31/08/2017 20:56

Rosa and Eliza works perfectly and my favourites from your list.

Polliver · 31/08/2017 21:00

Do not like Saskia. Ramona - cool

MikeUniformMike · 31/08/2017 21:01

Saskia and Alice.

Pibplob · 31/08/2017 21:10

Rosa and Cassia I my favs but not sure I would want them both to end in an 'a'. So then maybe rose instead. I don't like Alice but love Alicia.

Soslowmo · 31/08/2017 22:42

I like Alice & Eliza

sadmonkey1 · 03/09/2017 15:17

Alice and Saskia

Pepsioften100 · 03/09/2017 22:32

Alice and Eliza 🙂

Shadow1986 · 03/09/2017 22:35

Love Eliza, was my girls name for my last baby but didn't use as had a boy.

Think I like it with Alice the most.

BewareOfTheToddler · 04/09/2017 22:18

Verity and Romilly is a lovely combination!

Also like Saskia and Ramona - I think Ramona goes better with Saskia than Verity, they're a more similar type of name (imo).

Rosa and Eliza work well together and are about the same level of unusual, which is important for the following and little-considered reason. That reason is stupid pens and bookmarks in gift shops with names on them. If one twin can buy them and one can't, there is going to be trouble. Trust me. Alice and Saskia almost certainly appear on these pens etc. Rosa and Eliza might or might not (also Serena). Verity, Cassia and Ramona definitely won't.

My daughter has a not weird but also not common name (top 300 when she was born, everyone has heard of it but there aren't tons of them) and is constantly in fits of pique at the lack of pens with her name on them.

Greenifer · 04/09/2017 22:51

My favourites are Verity and Ramona, though. Ramona was on my list.

ilovepixie · 04/09/2017 23:00

Ronnie and Reggie or Topsy and Tim 😂😂

DesperatelySeeking2016 · 05/09/2017 01:26

I can't sleep and am really broody at the moment so am naming my fictional future babies. I have decided on Juliet and Caroline for my identical twin girls! You are welcome to use them Wink. Congratulations!!

TooManyBigFatLies · 05/09/2017 01:43

I think you are approaching this wrong. You should just choose the names that you like the most and not try to chose names that go together. Obviously you shouldn't chose names that clash and I think it's a good idea to have different initials but other than that I think you should chose each name separately and on its own. They are children not a 'brand' Wink

Taytotots · 05/09/2017 02:06

I have a Verity and we've never had ferrity if that helps (although someone did think she was called Bertie Hmm). I like all those - as said above for twins probably avoid starting with same letter or rhyming.
