we don't know what we are having but we have decided on one girls name we love.

but my best friends little girl (2) is joscelyne but known as joss/jossy.

I'm going to talk to her about it being similar/sounding the same or am I massively overthinking it. my partner didn't think or associate it but I think girls can be different about their child's name

I think you're over thinking it! Josie is pretty and a different stye and sound to Joss.

I think it's fine, she'll probably get called Jojo when little which doesn't sound too similar.
