Sugarpiehoneyeye · 17/08/2017 22:26

It's lovely, as is Estelle.

Yika · 17/08/2017 22:32

Pretty and classic. Nice.

Alisvolatpropiis · 18/08/2017 00:48

It's a lovely name

Argeles · 18/08/2017 08:46

Beautiful name.

Yogagirl123 · 18/08/2017 08:54

DH had a Lotus Elise years ago. So always has that connection for me, but yes a pretty name in its own right.

Lovelise · 18/08/2017 08:57

Love it. Obvs 😄

soupforbrains · 18/08/2017 09:19

I like Elise but not Eliza, too My Fair Lady associated.

also Estelle is a nice name but for me will always be Estelle in Great Expectations who isn't a nice person. What about Estella?

MineKraftCheese · 18/08/2017 09:22

Love it. Makes me think of "Für Elise", beautiful.

KatharinaRosalie · 18/08/2017 09:24

I have one so I'm obviously biased. Still love the name - I also considered Estelle but DH didn't like it. Other similar ones are Eloise and Elodie for me.

soupforbrains · 18/08/2017 09:30

Katharina Elodie is beautiful it's my favourite and on my list (has been for 10 years despite the fact that I am single and no children on the horizon aside fromt he DS I already have Grin)

saritah · 18/08/2017 12:59

I think Elise is a beautiful name and would quite like to use it, but I'm worried about pronunciation. I like the French "Elize" but I think lots of people would pronounce it "Elice", which doesn't sound as nice to me. Eloise is lovely!
