Is this a terrible name? For a boy? I quite like it??

Alternatively, looking for a boys name (ideally starting with a vowel)... We prefer unusual, but easy to pronounce names.

I had an Uncle Orlin. I always thought it was a fabulous name. Spelling different though...

Never heard of it, where did you get it from? It's OK, feels a bit made-up to me but that's probably just because it's unfamiliar and has the fashionable 2-syllable ends-in-n thing going on.

Found it on a baby name website, much prefer the spelling Orlin though. Already have an Arlo, so want something along those lines....

Arlo and Orlin/Orlen are way too similar.

I have another 3 children, but it would be far to outing if I listed their names but they don't sound too similar as a set

Baby name websites simply make them up!!!

I had a good laugh at a Welsh one once. They'd just listed loads of Welsh words. Not names, just words. Then spelled all the actual names two or three different (not very Welsh) ways to pad it all out.

Unless you have a solid idea where Orlen is from and know it's a name I wouldn't trust a baby name site!

Orlen is also a service station chain in Poland ...only time I've heard of it. The logo is a bird, so maybe Orlen is some kind of bird??
