Which do you prefer?
And would it bother you if Heidi's surname also started with a H?

Love Heidi
Know of a few Ivy's recently - it's gaining in popularity if that bothers you.

Marv1nGay3 · 13/08/2017 22:47

Heidi! Love it

RiverTam · 13/08/2017 22:47

Heidi

Why is I y so popular here? It's a dreadful name, and a dreadful plant!

nuttyknitter · 13/08/2017 22:47

Heidi is lovely.

early30smum · 13/08/2017 23:21

Ivy for sure!

KoolKoala07 · 13/08/2017 23:29

Ivy! Love ivy, it's one of my fave names.

PrettyLittleBrownEyedMe · 13/08/2017 23:30

Really don't like either, sorry. Ivy is an old lady's name and makes me think of poison ivy and that character from Coronation Street (I know I'm showing my age there, though), and the inevitable connotations with Heidi are cow bells, goats and snowy mountain tops. Any other names on the list at all.....?

Sophronia · 14/08/2017 01:03

Ivy

Jooni · 14/08/2017 01:57

Heidi is gorgeous! I think it works with the right H surname. Heidi Holland or Heidi Henshaw - fine. Heidi High or Heidi Howe - not fine.

DandySeaLioness · 14/08/2017 02:02

my grandma's dog was called Heidi. Ivy reminds me of poison. Sorry OP, both are dreadful

SuperBeagle · 14/08/2017 02:19

Ivy.

Don't like Heidi at all.

17caterpillars1mouse · 14/08/2017 08:14

Heidi

Madeyemoodysmum · 14/08/2017 08:16

I like Heidi. Hate ivy poison or a pest.

Aebj · 14/08/2017 08:42

Ivy because I came across a Heidi recently and she was horrid . If she wasn't horrid then I would say either as a good friend from school was called Heidi ( just takes one to put you off!!!)

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 14/08/2017 10:17

Heidi. Don't get the Ivy obsession at all

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 14/08/2017 11:51

Much prefer Heidi.

Twinkletwinkle4 · 14/08/2017 13:18

Heidi

TurquoiseOwl · 14/08/2017 14:35

Ivy

Kazzawazza69 · 14/08/2017 15:54

What Jooni said.

MammieBear · 14/08/2017 16:09

I prefer Ivy what puts me off Heidi is "Heidi Hi" but the book is lovely. Go for what ever name makes you happy never mind anyone else. Smile
