I realise how most of them are pretty similar now I have typed them all out Grin if it helps, surname is Wilce, pronounced similar to 'will-s'

Another vote for Conrad.

Decaffstilltastesweird · 08/08/2017 13:46

I only like Conrad and Grayson.

ClandestineAdulation · 08/08/2017 13:49

I only really like Conrad and Jake too, as PP said, the others sound like surnames or may not fit very well with your surname because of the hard 's' sound in both!

GaryBarlowsTaxReturn · 08/08/2017 13:52

Conrad or jake. Grayson at push but that's because I love Grayson Perry. Rest are awful. Sorry.

GinIsIn · 08/08/2017 13:58

Jake and Conrad. The others sound like American soap opera characters.

marmaladeforme · 08/08/2017 14:04

Mason is a lovely name.

bbpp · 08/08/2017 14:23

I like Conrad or Jake/Jacob.

Samson sounds like Samsung to me?

mistermagpie · 08/08/2017 14:26

You and I clearly have very different taste in names because I think they are all awful! You would probably hate my kids names though.

Jake is best. I just can't picture a baby, or anyone really, called Conrad.

ScarletSienna · 09/08/2017 20:00

I like Jake (and Jacob on BC). Conrad is ok but not keen on any others.

Like pp suggestion of Joss

FartnissEverbeans · 09/08/2017 21:13

I don't hate any of these names but here are some of my more detailed opinions Grin

Chase - sounds a bit eighties, like a character in an American coming of age movie
Jackson - I like this, I think it's down to earth and works well as a serious adult name. I know one and he's amazing.
Kason - I don't like the K, for some reason it's the chavviest letter
Lawson - alright but a bit too serious and sounds a bit odd with your surname
Grayson - it's okay
Jake - I like it but couldn't use it because in my hometown it means something very unpleasant
Conrad - great name, very underused
Dean - hmm a bit dated
Jenson - very 'of the moment', I think thanks to Jensen Button. It's more popular than you'd think and I've got a feeling it will date
Mason - this is ok but makes me think of the masons
Preston - makes me think of that twat from that band
Carson - makes me think of the butler from Downton
Samson - I like this a lot but it'll inevitably be shortened to Sam. Sam is lovely but it seems a shame

HeteronormativeHaybales · 09/08/2017 22:13

Like others, the only one I like is Conrad. The others are - sorry - awful.

fruitbat2008 · 09/08/2017 22:37

How about curtis im afraid I diden't like the rest.

Shemozzle · 12/08/2017 01:27

I love Samson. The rest... really not sure if I should say this, but I'm going to....they scream young mum. No idea if you are, sorry. (and for the record I did have one of my children young and they do have a name I regret)

OkPedro · 12/08/2017 01:35

Surely Conrad would be Con not Rad.. I'd cringe if I was introduced to someone called Rad..

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 12/08/2017 01:38

I think Jake is the only decent name on your list. The others really are truly awful.

Toriamayrose · 12/08/2017 01:50

My favs are Jake & Jackson Smile

TurquoiseOwl · 12/08/2017 04:24

My top 3:

  1. Jake
  2. Jackson
  3. Mason
zjma6 · 16/08/2017 12:41

I have a jake and a Mason and people always comment how nice there names is

MaryShelley1818 · 16/08/2017 20:45

Anything ending in *son is just awful tbh.
The possible exception of Samson which could be shortened to Sam.

FluffyPineapple · 17/08/2017 02:17

My NDN's Boxer dogs at called Chase and Samson. They bark and drool all day log :( Scrub them off the list OP.

I don't like any of the names - sorry!

user9512736123 · 17/08/2017 02:18

Jake is the only one that isn't terrible, sorry.

Pemba · 17/08/2017 06:07

Jake is by far the nicest. It might be a good idea to use Jacob on the birth certificate, but maybe it doesn't matter that much with this particular name, as Jake sounds fine as a stand-alone name.

Conrad is also quite nice.

Dislike all the others - what is it with all the names ending in 'son'? This indicates a surname. Your taste is very American. 'Chase' as a name doesn't really work in the UK. Hate Mason - it's an occupation, not a name! and Dean lacks class as well as being dated.

MammieBear · 17/08/2017 07:58

Grayson for reasons above.

d270r0 · 17/08/2017 08:12

I like Conrad best. Dean or Mason, maybe, but personally they wouldn't be on my list. Don't like the others.
