For the kitten!
DS's wants to call it after a minion Confused ( my grandchild will no doubt be Kevin at this rate) DH is researching more pretentious mythology type names. I said it was up to them Hmm could get difficult!
So obviously I need to get involved and manipulate this situation quickly as it will be me using the name at the vets etc. so good cat name suggestions please anything unusual is fine & pretentious is fine posh cat so no concerns about bullying Wink. If you can make it appealing to little boys and pompous fathers at the same time you get a gold star and Wine.
No rush btw kitten far too young to be adopted yet. Thanks xx

David. Or Dave for short. Good old fashioned name that happens or belong to a minion.
Or something mythology-ish that can be shortened to Mel. Also fits both criteria

OnlyRose · 04/08/2017 23:43

I vote Colin. Or Derek.

MoonPower · 04/08/2017 23:46

Captain Purry Pants.

MoonPower · 04/08/2017 23:46

Adonis.

Geronimo (Jerry)
Marconi (Mark)
Philomel (Phil)

SuperBeagle · 05/08/2017 01:01

I second Captain Purry Pants.

I can't tell you my dog's name as it would most definitely out me but 7 years on I still whisper his name as if it was Hitler whenever I get asked what he is called.

In light of that, I vote you call the cat Mog. Grin

Buntysoven · 05/08/2017 01:17

Purrseus?

marmitecrumpets · 05/08/2017 01:18

Dave!

OlennasWimple · 05/08/2017 01:19

Catty McCatface, obv!

Or Cerberus (yes, I know he was a dog...)

Or...hang on - surely we need to see a picture of this adorable kitten in order to think of the perfect name?

Captain Purry Pants is fab !
How about Sidney (Sid)
Derek or Clarence, like the lion from Daktari !

Bob. It's what I generally call my cat (and variations along the lines of bobster, boobster the lobster) although he has a proper vet's name too.

Sophronia · 05/08/2017 21:58

Graham
