From your list I love Jude and Henry and I like Leo.

ineedamoreadultieradult · 03/08/2017 23:30

From your list I like Rhys but I prefer the Reece spelling which I know probably makes me in the minority.

Other short names I like are:
Ben
Sam
Max
Seth
Seb
Joe
Arlo

DramaAlpaca · 03/08/2017 23:36

I like all the names on your list except Geoff/Jeff which are a very different style from the rest and are short for Geoffrey & Jeffrey anyway. I'm having trouble picturing a baby called Geoff or Jeff to be honest, but maybe it's due a revival.

If I had to choose a favourite it would be Leo, closely followed by Rhys.

Sophronia · 04/08/2017 01:11

I like Jude best from your list.

Rex

I love Rhys!

pilates · 04/08/2017 02:02

Henry

Elbi · 04/08/2017 07:48

I expect I'll be in the minority but I love Jeff/Geoff... Wish I was brave enough to use them! Have been considering Jed too.

blinkineckmum · 04/08/2017 07:50

I like them all in this order
Jeff
Jude
Leo
Rhys
Henry

Kiaa · 04/08/2017 08:33

Really like Leo !!

SuperBeagle · 04/08/2017 09:04
  1. Henry
  2. Leo
  3. Jude
  4. Jeff (not Geoff)
  5. Rhys

I only like Jeff if short for Jefferson, because Jefferson has cool music connotations (Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship). Hate Rhys because it always makes me think "grease" and "greasy".

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/08/2017 11:11

Rhys
Leo
Henry
Jude
Geoff/Jeff 😝

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/08/2017 11:13

I also prefer the spelling Reece.

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 04/08/2017 11:14

I like them all except Geoff. To me that's in the same league as Derek/Nigel/Norris-I just can't picture a baby with these names (although I did once meet a baby Nigel!)

howtogo · 04/08/2017 11:20

From your list I really like Jude.

Threeandabit · 04/08/2017 15:10

I like all your names. Prefer the spelling Jeff to Geoff.

Also, would suggest: -

Ross
Drew
Billy
Nicky
Ron

Threeandabit · 04/08/2017 15:14

And, Dale.

Happy choosing, op. Smile

Threeandabit · 04/08/2017 15:46

Jethro and Saul too.

Dixiestamp · 05/08/2017 03:12

I like Jude and Rhys from your list. I also met a young Geoff today, and the name's growing on me.

OkPedro · 05/08/2017 03:32

Love Rhys can't accept (😬) the spelling Reece tho..
There's also
George
Freddie
Callum
Jamie
Paul
Adam
Brody
James
Sean
Ben
Charlie
Justin
Jake

Parker? ok sorry I'm joking now 🙊😂

ScarletSienna · 05/08/2017 09:39

Rhys is great (definitely less lovely when spelt, Reece).
Also like Henry and Jude. Leo is ok.

Dislike Jeff.

Gladiator2017 · 06/08/2017 23:24

So it looks like Jeff/ Geoff is not so popular. I'm edging towards Henry Jude or Jude Henry. We have a good few months left to decide. Now to pick the girls name!

OP posts:
Sugarpiehoneyeye · 07/08/2017 09:07

I like Henry Jude !
Good luck with the girls names.😄

EdmundCleverClogs · 07/08/2017 09:37

Rhys is lovely if you can pronounce it properly, otherwise better go for the anglicised version Reece. Leo and Henry are nice names.

Never personally liked Jude (it seems feminine to me, though obviously not), and Jeff/Geoff is one of these 'old man names' that should stay in the past.
