Hi,
I have posted a few times looking for some
Help with names for our second baby,
Currently yellow but will probably
Find out the sex.
My daughter is Daisy so something that goes well with that would be ideal

Currently for girls we like
Penelope (nelly)
Florence (we do like flo and flossy)
Isla
Grace (bit boring?)

List for boys
Harry
Jack
Charles (Charlie)

Suggestions welcome

WTF is team yellow?

Xanthe is the only name that means 'yellow' that I can think of off hand.

You seem to want both boys and girls names, but your short lists don't seem related to colours,

What exactly is unit that you are after?

Haudyerwheesht · 03/08/2017 20:40

I think it's quite widely used that yellow is gender unknown and even if it wasn't it's easy to infer from context.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 03/08/2017 20:41

@permalice team 'yellow' is if you don't know the sex, I believe.

17caterpillars1mouse · 03/08/2017 20:41

I don't find Grace boring but I do find your name choices very full. Sorry

I dislike Penelope but I like Nellie / Nell. I'd personally go for Helena

I also like Florence shortened to either Florrie or Flossie.

Isla is full to me as there are so many baby Isla's around here

ArchieStar · 03/08/2017 20:41

Team yellow is names for both sexes I think?

For girls any flower names since you already have a daisy.

For boys traditional names I think, Bertie, James, etc

Mrscropley · 03/08/2017 20:42

Team yellow means she doesn't know if it's a boy /girl yet!!

Ankleswingers · 03/08/2017 20:50

I love your list of boys and girls names.

You have good taste. Smile

The boys names you like are popular names but are popular for the reason because they are strong, decent and traditional.

Good luck op Flowers

friedegs · 03/08/2017 20:55

Definitely Florence. Isla (IMO) is one of the most boring names ever.

friedegs · 03/08/2017 20:55

Love Rory.

I new Isla was popular but I didn't realise how much people seem to be fed up of it from responses. I think it's pretty but Ky concern is it may date quickly.

I personally wouldn't pick another flower name or they'll sounds too "themed" Smile

From your girls' list I think Florence is lovely - Daisy and Flo has a nice ring to it.

Threeandabit · 03/08/2017 21:53

Daisy and....

Ross
Harley...For some reason this appeals to me so much more than Charlie. Charlie feels over-popular, I think.
Joseph
Andrew / Drew
David - Means "Beloved"
Billy

Daisy and....

Verity
Esmé - Means ""Esteemed, beloved"
Theodora - Means "God's Gift"
Amanda - Means "Worthy of love"
Asha - Means "Hope / Desire"
Amy - Means "Loved" Amy is one of my favourite names.
Beatrice - "She who brings happiness"
Felicity - "Happy / lucky"
Abigail - "Father's joy"
Rona - "My joy"

Katrice
Saskia
Molly
Sara
Phoebe

So many lovely names out there.... Happy choosing, op. Smile

I'm ancient and even I deduced yellow meant gender unknown.
Pink - girl
Blue -boy
Yellow - unknown

Thoughts on Boys name Dylan

early30smum · 03/08/2017 23:32

Love all your names! I immediately thought of Daisy and Phoebe for another girl and Daisy and Samuel for a boy.
